Allowed and prohibited use
Save Web is a backup and archiving tool. It is meant for pages you own or are authorized to copy. Please read these rules before using it.
Allowed use
- Backing up a landing page or website you own.
- Archiving a page you manage for a client, with the client's permission.
- Saving your own page for offline review, testing or version history.
- Migrating your own assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts) from one host to another.
- Saving a page you have written permission from the owner to archive.
Prohibited use
- Copying websites or content that you do not own and are not authorized to archive.
- Infringing copyright, trademarks or any intellectual property rights.
- Republishing someone else's site or passing it off as your own.
- Bypassing paywalls, logins or other access restrictions.
- Any use that is illegal in your country or violates the target site's terms.
If you are not sure whether you are allowed to archive a page, do not use the tool until you have permission from the owner.
